Extending The Canoe Group’s year-long planning and facilitation relationship with Caldera, The Canoe Group has been retained to facilitate business planning with the Caldera Board, and to provide planning consultation to Executive Director Tricia Snell.
Caldera’s strategic plan, accomplished with Canoe Group facilitation in early 2008, was influential in the nonprofit gaining a $50,000 planning grant from Oregon Community Foundation.
Caldera is now developing plans that will translate the non-profit’s knowledge and expertise about innovation into adult programs and expanded facilities in central Oregon. Pilot programming will begin in fall 2009, with a full launch slated in fall 2010.
About Caldera
Caldera is a catalyst for transformation through innovative art and environmental programs.
Caldera’s youth program provides underserved oregon children with year-round, long-term mentoring through arts and nature projects, beginning at age eleven and continuing through young adulthood.
Caldera’s adult program offers month-long residencies to professional artists: the gift of time & creative workspace at our Blue Lake facility in the Oregon cascade mountains.
