The Canoe Group has been selected by the state of Oregon’s Office of Administrative Hearings to navigate strategic planning for the $21M, 130+ employee organization.
The Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) delivers judicial services and provides fair and impartial hearings on issues between citizens and a broad range of state agencies. Over 70 administrative law judges, managers and staff conduct OAH hearings across the state.
The Canoe Group began pre-planning with OAH management in February, 2009, and strategic planning services will be completed in the current fiscal year.
Founded in 2000, following a national trend to centralize such state hearing panels, OAH is developing its first strategic plan through a process, that utilizes broad employee engagement, a cross-functional employee planning team, and online survey interchanges to collect feedback and input throughout the planning process.
