The Canoe Group has been hired by the Oregon Cultural Trust to design and develop a new website solution and integrated social media strategy to expand the impact of the Cultural Trust’s October Day of Culture. Now in its second year, the Day of Culture is the kickoff to the Trust’s 2009 year-end fundraising campaign.

Addressing a short list of highest priority communications goals, The Canoe Group’s Dave Frackelton and Michael Kosmala will fast-track, test and launch a customized event website, allowing the Cultural Trust to invite nonprofits from every community across Oregon to post event information to a shared, online event calendar. The Day of Culture events calendar will provide a comprehensive overview of Oregon’s cultural landscape for the one week leading up to the 2009 Day of Culture.
